A new series of slitter rewinder machines from Cason

Customers from all around the world, both new and existing, have collaborated with Cason to create their new slitter rewinder, Evolution 4.0. This remarkable achievement comes after the official presentation of the series.

Among the various models, two have garnered significant demand: the INNOVA Matic double turret and the INNOVA Biback dual shaft, both incorporating the HUB PLATFORM SYSTEM. This cyber-physical solution combines physical integrations, technical solutions, and customizations to ensure streamlined, ergonomic, and efficient production cycles.

Cason HUB PLATFORM SYSTEM

The Cason HUB PLATFORM SYSTEM serves as the cornerstone of the Evolution 4.0 series. Cason seamlessly integrates functionalities in both the hardware and software of the machine, allowing for an efficient and adaptable slitter capable of handling different products and materials.

This proactive approach aligns perfectly with the customers’ expectations, enhancing the performance of their production plants with smart and fully integrated functionalities. By incorporating these functionalities into the machine’s software and the customers’ E.R.P., Cason simplifies and clarifies the management of all processes.

Like all Cason slitters, the Evolution 4.0 series prioritizes ergonomic design, ensuring ease, safety, and speed during operations. Each solution is thoughtfully integrated with a proactive approach to physical machine setups.

A dynamic solution for Cason slitters

The HUB PLATFORM SYSTEM is a dynamic solution that enables future integration of automations or external features into the slitter rewinder unit. With multiple access points for customizations and integrations, such as robotic unloading, perforator units, web cleaning systems, tape dispensers, and auto core loading and positioning, the Evolution 4.0 series offers extensive flexibility.

Cason INNOVA MATIC Evolution 4.0 integration

A notable example of the HUB PLATFORM SYSTEM’s capabilities is the integration of the INNOVA MATIC Evolution 4.0 double turret slitter rewinder with an ABB anthropomorphic robot. This integration extends beyond physical and electronic connections. Leveraging the HUB PLATFORM SYSTEM, the software of the robot and the slitter are interconnected and auto programmable, resulting in a unified control panel that is user-friendly and customizable by the operator.

This solution enables fully automatic and flexible unloading operations without human intervention, ensuring high productivity, enhancing operator safety, and reducing labour costs within the plant.

Cason democenter provides an innovative approach to explore our slitters. Through the collaboration between the sales department and the production area, located entirely at our headquarters, we offer the opportunity to schedule live tests with our slitters using your materials. It’s a new way to develop customers’ projects.
